Blue Zones and what we are learning from them.  Blue Zones are areas in the world identified by a National Geographic study as the areas in the world where people live the longest and keep their cognizance into old age.  They all have certain things in common.  We should live by these health principles to live long and thrive.

There are some key elements that contribute to health, long term health, and healthy longevity.

1. Community

All the Blue Zones have strong communities. Some are people that have been connected for life, most have a faith-based connection. Sometimes multi-generations live together. These communities share a sense of purpose with their members. They are people that support each other throughout life.

2. Diet

All the Blue Zones eat a healthy, toxin free diet. Most are vegetarian, with some fish, and sometimes very small portions of meat twice a week. Common foods that are eaten in Blue Zones are organic and include olive oil (make sure it is real), lots of greens, coffee(organic), chickpeas, legumes, green tea, tomatoes, turmeric, sweet potatoes, salmon, squash and avocados.

3. Cook

Eating out is celebratory only. Food is made in the home and eaten in their family community. Food is never eaten standing up, or in the car. Plates are made in the kitchen and taken to the table. People in blue zones stop eating when they are 80% full.

4. Drink

The Blue Zones drink water. They don’t drink sodas, with sugar or fake sugar, they drink water. And at the end of the day they have one glass of wine.

5. Treats

Blue Zones keep healthy food accessible and ready to eat on upper shelves in their fridge. Junk food is put away in a cabinet marked ‘junk” and it is hard to reach. You eat what you see, and you eat what is convenient. Make the foods easy to eat freshly cut veggies and fruit.

6. Mind

Blue Zones have people with active minds. They are constantly learning: a new language, a new musical instrument, a new science. Often people in blue zones meditate.

7. Sleep

People in Blue Zones get 7 or more hours of sleep. The bedroom is used for sleep or sex. No TV, No Phone, No clock. The room is kept cool.

8. Movement

People in Blue Zones move naturally. They walk everywhere. They ride bikes for transportation. They get up and down to change the TV Channel; they do outdoor chores; and they garden. They have pets that they walk.

We normalized the experiment on ourselves called “vaccine” for COVID pandemic. When I drive in my car and listen to NPR (the station I enjoyed listening till recently) and hear them talk about what a great milestone it is to start using “vaccine” for children, toddlers and infants, my body cringes, and I start screaming. We know vaccines, most of us are vaccinated. We are aware that they are more or less safe. We are more familiar with childhood vaccinations, such as measles, mumps, rubella, polio, TB in some countries, hepatitis B, etc. We think of the COVID vaccine the same way, seems like. The news, whether it is on TV, google, yahoo news or any other smart phone/computer corporate news channel we browse through, announce that only vaccine is the solution to this crisis. And we so badly want to get back to our normal life and we think – it seems safe…CDC, FDA, news media, our own doctors are all recommending it. We trust our institutions. We do not think that they can lie to us, hide the information or deceive us. Vaccine companies are there to save our lives that is why they rushed it to the market without any proper testing. Anything that says that vaccine is not safe, effective and not needed is a conspiracy theory. Sounds about right?

Why may these vaccines be considered not safe?

1. A vaccine is a substance introduced into someone’s body to prevent them from getting a specific disease. CDC though recently changed to justify a “vaccine” that does not protect from getting the disease or transmitting it to others. The CDC’s definition changed from “a product that stimulates a person’s immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease” to the current “a preparation that is used to stimulate the body’s immune response against diseases.” As we know, present vaccines against SARS COV2 do NOT protect against getting and spreading the virus. The term that is used is “breakthrough” infections. These are “leaky vaccines” and they have their dangers in the history of vaccines.

2. mRNA technology for Moderna and Pfizer was never used in the past on a whole population of the world. The claim of the companies is that they have been working on this technology for many years. There are no other mRNA vaccines that we can compare these COVID vaccines to. Interestingly, that they used this specific method for inoculating the whole world. mRNA (mRNA) vaccines train the body to produce proteins on their cells that mimic the spike proteins from the coronavirus. The body then makes the antibodies. To manufacture the mRNA vaccines is fast. But they have to be attached to a nanoparticle to be delivered to the body. Are these nanoparticles safe? Where does it end up after it ends up in the body?

3. Japanese Government report of the study on the Pfizer vaccine note that nanoparticles from mRNA vaccines can be accumulating in various organs, especially bone marrow and ovaries. Here is how Dr. Malone, one of the inventors of the mRNA technology, described it “The lipid nanoparticles are like the “boxes” the mRNA is shipped in. If you find lipid nanoparticles in an organ or tissue, that tells you the drug got to that location”. Why would they be in a tissue? It is possible that the mRNA COVID vaccines travel into the blood stream and do not stay in the muscle.

4. Short term effects from the COVID vaccines at the moment go beyond myocarditis and pericarditis, the only side effects that were mentioned on the mass media stations. The ill effects include but not limited to formation of blood clots, strokes, heart attacks, convulsions, miscarriages, cycle dysregulation, lymph nodes enlargement, etc. How do we know about them?

5. In the United States, there is a system called VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System). It is a voluntary reporting system that has been estimated to account for only 1% of vaccine injuries. Doctors and nurses report these injuries. According to this database, 701,559 COVID Vaccine Adverse Event Reports, 60, 741 Total COVID Vaccine Reported Hospitalizations, 14,925 COVID Vaccine Reported Deaths/23,817 Total Reported Deaths as of September 10, 2021. So if is only 1 percent, the numbers are significantly higher.

6. Another source is many whistleblowers by now – doctors, nurses, physician assistants, etc. There is an excellent interview with Deborah Conrad on Highwire, the physician’s assistant who shows how reporting COVID vaccines ill effects were disregarded in the hospital. She exposes the internal situation that is, most likely, going on in every hospital not only in the USA but in the rest of the world.

7. Long term side effects are NOT known. Though according to the animal studies, animals either develop autoimmune conditions or chronic conditions or worse, perish.

8. Extreme censorship on all the social media platforms. While writing this article, I wanted to verify the articles, studies that I have come across, it was impossible to find them on Google. As we know, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram censors any information about the vaccine side effects, adverse effects, vaccine deaths, etc. It is an enormous problem as people cannot find any information on what is going on in reality. How many vaccinated patients are in the hospitals? How many people have died as a result of the “vaccine? What are long term effects of it? The answers to these questions are lies and more lies from the mass media.

Just like there is alternative medicine, there are alternative sources of information, not bought by the corporations.

We know so little about these injections, so called COVID “vaccines” but we are eager to take part in this due to fear of he virus. We should be fearful of the “vaccines”.

We are all so busy, “doing.”

We are busy raising children, building a business, out socializing with friends every night, or running off to the gym. Busy all the time. Busy, busy, busy…

We are stressed all of the time, often unnecessarily, functioning in “Fight or Flight” mode, at hyper speed. We are not taking time for self-care and seem to think that would be selfish. We are not taking time to be quiet and we don’t “listen” to our bodies. Our discomfort may catch our attention for a fleeting moment and then we resume being busy again.

We have been deceived into believing that as we age, pain and pills are natural. We buy over the counter medications to eliminate headaches, body aches, and pains.

We are always looking for the magic pill.

When we go to the doctor, we mention our first complaint, six minutes later the appointment is over and, we are on our way, and realize that we forgot to mention many of the health issues we had meant to discuss with our doctor. We decide we don’t want to appear to be hypochondriacs anyway.

We push aside thoughts that we have “dis-ease.” In most instances, these thoughts don’t even register.

We are living in a toxic world. We are having a health care crisis as a nation. The unawareness of the state of our body is allowing a toxic load to do damage to our health.

A toxic load can take 20 years to rear its ugly little head. There are signs along the way that we are heading for “dis-ease” but since they are not registering in our minds, we don’t react until we are in full blown bad health. We are headed toward the tipping point.

Here are 20 Signs that You’re Not as Healthy as You Think:

You hurt. You are taking more and more over the counter medications to “mask” the pain.

You just don’t feel well.

You are more tired when you get up than when you went to bed, and you were tired then.

You have anxiety and have tons of stress.

You can’t lose weight.

You are losing weight in spite of the high-calorie diet you are eating.

You are bloated and puffy.

You have GERD or other digestive problems.

You have gas, all the time.

You are constipated.

You have skin problems, like eczema, psoriasis, or acne.

It seems impossible to get a good night’s sleep.

You snore.

You have irregular periods.

You are always hungry and crave sugar.

You are getting more and more headaches.

You have bad breath.

You are getting lots of muscle cramps.

You have terrible hay fever.

You are losing your hair.

You may not even realize that these are all signs that the toxic load in your body is building. This causes inflammation and disease.

The USA is 37th in the world in health, but we spend more than any other country on health. The solution is not to match the pill to the symptom. The solution is to clean up our own toxic load as a daily ritual.

53% of our children have some kind of chronic disease. Many times, our babies start off right at birth with a significant toxic load that they are inheriting from us.

The time to clean up the toxins in your life is now. Every toxin removed is a step closer to health. Where to start?

Eat Organic.

If you can’t afford to buy all your veggies and fruits organic, follow the Dirty Dozen/Clean 15 guidelines put out every year by the Environmental Working Group. I look at it as pay now or pay later. Cleaning up your food is a huge step forward because you are eliminating all of the herbicides and pesticides that are sprayed on our conventional crops. And, you are avoiding GMO’s which often have toxins bred right into them.

Eat All of the Colors of the Rainbow, from A Source as Close to the Farm as Possible:

Each color offers a “gift.” Your body wants to heal but you have to feed it the right nutrients so that healing can occur.


This is the only way you can control what you are feeding your body and those of your family.

Avoid Processed and Fast Food.

They are made with synthetic ingredients that offer no nutrition to your body and often do you harm. Read labels and find ingredients online; if you can’t pronounce it, don’t eat it. If you don’t know what it is, then don’t eat it.

Detox from Sugar.

This is especially true for corn syrup. This also includes fake sugars, which all do harm to your body. If you want a little sweet, use stevia.


Surround yourself with positive, supportive people.

One last thought, it is really important that you make time every day to be quiet and tune in with your body. It will let you know when it is feeling great and when it is feeling lousy. You need a space to quiet your mind so that you can “hear” what your body is telling you. This could be in meditation, in “Morning Papers,” or by taking a walk out in nature. Once you know what your body is saying, it’s so much easier to “stay the course” and live a healthy lifestyle.

Your body will support your decision, and no matter what age you are, you will find the way back to feeling great and living life to its fullest.


You can afford high-quality food if it is important to you. Ideally, I want you to:

Cook 90% of your food. If you think real live food costs too much, and that it is too hard and takes too long, and you are relying on “convenience” foods, these “inexpensive convenience foods” will not be so convenient when they make you and your family ill.

When people tell me organic is too expensive, my immediate response is, “Have you Priced out the cost of cancer recently? The toxins and herbicides on conventional product will make you sick. Glyphosate now has 85,000 lawsuits against Monsanto. Last year, Monsanto was sued by a gardener who got poisoned spraying RoundUp, its brand name of Glyphosate, on school lawns and he got cancer. It came out in discovery that Monsanto had known for 20 years that their product caused cancer. They lost and also opened up the possibility for the other 85000 cases to win. You don’t need glyphosate in your body. It is still being sprayed on our crops. It is poisoning you.

Other GMO’s have BT Toxin bred right into them. BT Toxin is also an herbicide. It works by killing the bug when the bug bites the plant. Unfortunately, it also is killing all of your good gut bacteria, and it is killing our bees and our butterflies. Remember, no pollinators, no food. This is not a good thing. It wreaks havoc in your body so all the way around organic is starting to look like a good deal.

Our government subsidizes factory farming so your conventional crops are cheaper than they would be otherwise. There is no government control for safety over conventional growing. On the other hand, organic farmers need to jump through all kinds of hoops to be certified as organic. This by nature makes them more expensive, but the good news when this food is certified, you know what you are getting, and it is a low toxin version of its conventional counterpart. I only buy organic. I have autoimmune disease and cannot afford the toxins in my body.

If you can’t afford to buy everything organic, then look up the Dirty Dozen/ Clean 15 list. If it is on the dirty side of that list buy organic period. Those items can have as many as 80 toxins on them. If its on the clean 15 side, then you can buy it conventional. Your body and your family deserves real whole foods that don’t poison you when you eat them Eat the rainbow, you need all the colors, they each offer a gift, and together they form a synergy that creates health in your body. Just like a sophisticated computer, garbage in, garbage out. If you don’t give your body the building supplies it needs to replenish cells, your body can’t possibly stay well forever.

In the beginning, it takes more planning to eat real food, but in the long run, it has been proven that it is not more expensive, and it doesn’t need to take long to make. We are simply a society that has gotten into bad habits, and we are thinking “convenience” first out of habit. And convenience equates in our minds to “out of a box.” “frozen with multiple ingredients,” from a fast-food restaurant, or out at a regular restaurant where we do not usually know what goes into the food.

Could we re-frame that to making a meal from real live food in under 30 minutes?

It can be easily done. Buy your fruits and veggies and prep them when you get home. Wash the environmental residue off of them and then store them in the fridge.

When its time for dinner, just go grab your veggies for that meal. The hardest part is done, the veggie and fruit is already washed and ready to go.

The easiest way to prepare veggies is to toss them in olive oil, avocado oil or ghee, and then put them on parchment paper in a pan into the oven. Season to taste. I often use organic powdered garlic, organic onion powder, and steak seasoning which adds a little bite, and then sea salt. Throw the pan into the oven and roast the veggies until they are al dente. (Not too cooked but cooked enough. They should be slightly crunchy) Viola, they are yummy and super healthy. Add your quality protein and a raw salad with more veggies cut up in it and you have a nutritious meal, in a matter of minutes.

Never forget that food quality matters.

I can cook that faster than you can get in your car, drive to fast food, order and pick it up and then get home. The fast food meal has zero nutrients. My meal is loaded with nutrition to rebuild your body to be strong.
